We are currently looking for part-time bar staff and a part-time cook/chef.

Located on the top of mount Ephraim and just five minutes’ walk from the main town centre, we're a busy tavern popular with the local community.  We offer a good quality traditional style pub menu and take great pride in providing a first class level of customer service.

Bar staff: Part-time

We are looking for flexible staff who can work part-time hours across a range of breakfast, lunch and evening shifts. We will gladly discuss hours and your requirements at interview.

Requirements:

  • Former experience in bar, restaurant or the hospitality sector is advantageous.
  • First class customer service skills.
  • You must be flexible in terms of working hours.
  • You must be over eighteen in order to serve alcohol.
  • You will be a great team player.
  • You will be hard working, reliable and trustworthy.

Cook/Chef required: Part-time

This hands on and fast paced role will see you working as part of a small kitchen team undertaking all duties within the kitchen to include food preparation, cooking, portering duties and the closing down of the kitchen.
 
This is a part-time post that will see you working approximately two days a week in the kitchen, but if you are looking for full time hours there may be additional hours available in the front of house areas.

Requirements:

  • Some form of proven experience producing quality food in a busy kitchen.
  • You will want to work as part of a kitchen team and learn new culinary skills.
  • The ability to adhere to food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and busy environment.
  • You must be flexible in terms of the working hours required of you.
  • You must be reliable and trustworthy.
